Morgan Cash

Psychologist and Psychotherapist

Morgan is a Psychologist, with a Psychotherapy and Counselling practice in Brisbane's inner-western suburb of Paddington.

Morgan is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. His early career focused on shorter-term, solution-focused interventions, most relevant and effective in the environments of Employee Assistance Programs and Employment Services, working primarily with adults, couples, adolescents, and organisations. This was ideal experience and preparation for providing effective interventions within the limited number of sessions funded by Medicare, as the time arrived for Morgan’s transition to private practice.

During this early experience, Morgan’s historical and philosophical interest in longer-term, psychodynamic approaches to therapy and the therapeutic relationship, particularly those now broadly recognised as Relational Psycho-analysis, matured into a passion for developing and deepening the knowledge and skills required to meet the need for this service in his private psychotherapy practice.

Whether the therapeutic relationship persists for a shorter- or longer-term engagement, Morgan’s calling is to collaboratively integrate evidence-based psychological practices, supporting adults, adolescents, and couples to experience an ease, contentment, and satisfaction with themselves and their lives.
